Cost The cost of consultants is a major concern of
clients throughout the shipping industry.
Substantial Compliance provides an economical solution for all our
clients. The final price is dependant
upon the scope of the job required. At
the end of the job, Substantial Compliance has generally saved our clients
the cost of the consultancy by offering alternative solutions that meet the
regulations. Completing the job right
the first time is always cheaper than retrofitting. The basic costs are as follows: $750.00 per day based on a maximum 10 hour day or
$95.00 per hour (minimum of four hours). Layover and travel days $250 per day. Transportation and Airfares at cost. Meals and lodging not provide will be charged at the

time of work involved. An ICVE preinspection examination (about 8-12 hours)
will ensure that the vessel is ready for the ICVE and could reduce the
inspection time and deficiencies issued by the Coast Guard. |
